This is the first of two practical courses we offer in Connective Tissue Release – the Hugh Gilbert Method™.
Connective Tissue Release (CTR), often called myofascial release, is a powerful technique for massage therapists, bodyworkers, and health professionals who want to help clients overcome pain, improve mobility, and enhance wellbeing. At Airmid Academy, our CTR 1, and CTR 2 courses combine science with a heart-centred, intuitive approach that transforms practice and delivers lasting results.
In this 2-day course you will receive fourteen hours of hands-on training in accessing planes of fascia not usually addressed in traditional myofascial or connective tissue release work.
Our Connective Tissue Release 1 course provides a powerful set of releases which can be used to treat a range of symptoms that may remain unresolved by KCR. Over the duration of the two-part course, you will receive an advanced toolkit for addressing a diverse set of conditions.
You also will be trained how to make informed selections for which techniques should be chosen in various situations. Taught in a classroom setting, you will directly experience the benefits of these techniques.
